Inspired by a past summer reading, A Path Appears, and the objectives of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, students select projects to finance through GlobalGiving.org. 

 

These grants allow people to make a real change in their lives and communities. This past year, we funded:

• Aid for Children & Families in Gaza

• Humanitarian Aid in Gaza

• Forests 4 Water

In past years, Global Studies students loaned money to over a dozen projects through Kiva, including a biogas project in Kenya, a farming project in Tanzania, and a dairy farm in Kyrgyzstan. As the money is repaid, it is now automatically loaned to other needy Kiva projects. ​​​​
