Our curriculum is always adapting to

explore current global issues in the news and

the speakers who join us.

 

Here is what we did from Winter 2019:

Content: Demographics and the importance of data, Global health, Visiting Speakers

on Islam, migration and the Peace Corp in Morocco.

 

Field Trip: NYC Trip: Tour Tenement Museum to explore the lives of immigrant to NYC, Tour the United Nations and a private briefing with Juliette Lehner about genocide prevention, and attending the Broadway musical, The Band's Visit.

Projects:  Data analysis project,   Global health project.

 

Capstone Project: Seniors:  Multi-genre Products for their Capstone Projects

Juniors: Junior Project exploring global issues.  EVERY YEAR!!
